Dye Kits Coming Soon

These aren't your average craft kits. Every dye flower β€” marigold, dyer's chamomile, coreopsis, hibiscus β€” is grown right here in the mountains, harvested by hand, and carefully dried to hold its color.

What's inside each kit:

  • Dye Flowers: Pre-measured packets of dried blooms β€” marigold, dyer's chamomile, coreopsis, or hibiscus
  • Mordant: Natural aluminum sulfate to help your fabric bond with the color so it won't wash out
  • Modifiers: Optional iron additives to shift your colors into deeper, moodier shades β€” turn yellow into green
  • Accessories: Twine, rubber bands, a dowel for rolling, and a full step-by-step guide

The Grower Behind It All

About Stacey

Welcome to Stacey's Flower Market! My love of gardening comes from a family tradition of growing beautiful flowers and useful herbs. For generations, gardening has been a way to connect with the land, provide for the household, and share nature's beauty with others. Over the years, that tradition has blossomed into Stacey's Flower Market β€” a small, family-centered business dedicated to sharing quality plants, gardening knowledge, and the joy of growing things.

Located in the beautiful Appalachian foothills of West Virginia, I specialize in herbs, vegetable seedlings, flowers, and traditional dye plants that help gardeners create productive and beautiful gardens. Whether you're planting your very first herb garden or adding unique heirloom varieties to your collection, I strive to offer healthy plants and practical growing advice to help you succeed.

"Many of the plants I grow have long histories of culinary, medicinal, ornamental, or dye-making uses."

I am especially inspired by historic gardening traditions and the resourcefulness of early American gardeners. Through my work with The Bee Sisters, I also enjoy sharing demonstrations and educational programs that bring colonial-era gardening practices to life.

At Stacey's Flower Market, I believe gardening is about more than plants β€” it's about connecting with nature, preserving traditions, creating beauty, and building community. Every seedling is grown with care, and every customer is treated like a neighbor.

As a certified West Virginia Master Gardener, I bring not just a love of plants but a depth of knowledge to everything I grow and share. Thank you for supporting a local woman-owned small business. I look forward to helping you grow a garden you'll love.
